Educational Equity

Educational Equity was formed in 2014 by three local, state, and nationally recognized teachers of excellence. Amy Parker, Amanda Smith, and Forrest Pearl have a combined five decades of service to students. They are committed to developing community alliances, innovative solutions, and solutions for teachers and students in historically underserved communities.

Our Impact So Far

2014

Educational Equity Founded

Since our founding, we have been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our community members. We have continuously worked towards providing exceptional services and creating a positive impact.

2017

Title I Grants

In 2017, Educational Equity was award three Title I grants to serve teachers, students, and leadership in schools in Florida's First District that were designated as Title 1 Schools in jeopardy. To be considered in jeopardy of closing, the school is given a grade of F for two consecutive years. From these grants, the holistic approach to reforms was born.
